I love the outdoors, and I’m always inspired by the people who care deeply about preserving the natural beauty of New Mexico. Our land is part of who we are—it holds our history, supports our families, and reminds us of the responsibility we all share to protect it for future generations.
That’s why it was such a pleasure to attend the Juan Sanchez for Land Commissioner Meet & Greet. It was an amazing opportunity to connect with people who understand how important it is to care for our land, our water, and the communities that depend on both. Conversations like these matter because they bring together people who are committed to stewardship, sustainability, and the future of our state.
Events like this remind me that when we come together with shared values, we can build stronger communities and make thoughtful decisions that honor both our environment and the people who call New Mexico home. I’m grateful for the chance to be part of such an inspiring gathering.

Me encanta estar al aire libre, y siempre me inspira conectar con personas que se preocupan profundamente por preservar la belleza natural de Nuevo México. Nuestra tierra es parte de quienes somos—guarda nuestra historia, sostiene a nuestras familias y nos recuerda la responsabilidad que todos compartimos de protegerla para las generaciones futuras.
Por eso fue un verdadero placer asistir al Meet & Greet de Juan Sanchez para Land Commissioner. Fue una oportunidad increíble para conectar con personas que entienden lo importante que es cuidar nuestra tierra, nuestra agua y las comunidades que dependen de ambas.
