This Meet & Greet in Hatch is deeply personal to me. These are my grandparents:
Many years ago, they worked in the fields in Hatch as Mexican migrants. Their story is one of sacrifice, resilience, and love: values that shaped who I am today.
Because of them, I understand: the strength it takes to build a life through hard work. I understand the importance of community, and I understand the dignity in every job. Their journey reminds me that progress is built by people who show up every day with determination, hope, and pride in where they come from.
When I come to Hatch, I’m not just coming as a candidate—I’m coming with deep roots, ready to listen, learn, and stand alongside you. Your voices matter, your stories matter, and your safety matters. I want this visit to be more than an event. I want it to be a space where we connect, share, and honor the experiences that make this community so strong.
I carry my family’s story with me everywhere I go, and it guides the way I lead. Hatch is part of that story, and it means so much to me to return with gratitude, humility, and a commitment to serve with compassion.

Este Meet & Greet en Hatch es profundamente personal para mí. Estos son mis abuelos. Hace muchos años, trabajaron en los campos en Hatch como migrantes mexicanos. Su historia es de sacrificio, fortaleza y amor: valores que formaron quién soy hoy.
Gracias a ellos, entiendo la fuerza que se necesita para salir adelante con trabajo duro. Entiendo la importancia de la comunidad y la dignidad en cada trabajo. Su camino me recuerda que el progreso lo construyen personas que se presentan todos los días con determinación, esperanza y orgullo por sus raíces.
Cuando voy a Hatch, no voy solo como candidata—voy con raíces profundas, lista para escuchar, aprender y caminar junto a ustedes. Sus voces importan, sus historias importan, y su seguridad importa. Quiero que esta visita sea más que un evento; quiero que sea un espacio para conectar, compartir y honrar las experiencias que hacen tan fuerte a esta comunidad.
Llevo conmigo la historia de mi familia a donde quiera que voy, y esa historia guía la forma en que lidero. Hatch forma parte de esa historia, y para mí significa muchísimo regresar con gratitud, humildad y un compromiso de servir con compasión.
